Reinsurance

To secure a balanced insurance portfolio and efficient risk management, Eximgarant of Belarus partially transfers the liabilities under the existing insurance contracts to reinsurance.

Legal framework:

• The Resolution of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Belarus of February 7, 2003 № 16 “On the approval of the normative liability under voluntary insurance (co-insurance, reinsurance) contracts, other than life insurance contracts”.
• The Resolution of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Belarus of November 29, 2006 № 145 “On the approval of the Conditions of transfer by insurance organizations of liabilities under voluntary insurance contracts, other than life insurance contracts, with excessive normative liability, to the republican unitary enterprise “The Belarusian national reinsurance organization”.
• The Resolution of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Belarus of June 20, 2014 № 37 “On some questions of insurance activities implementation”.
• The Resolution of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Belarus of June 25, 2014 № 42 “On the approval of the Directive for the procedure for the governing of the register of the foreign insurance (reinsurance) organizations, with which insurance organizations of the Republic of Belarus can conclude reinsurance agreements”.
